GUIDED TOUR DU MONT BLANC TREK
LHO’s Tour du Mont Blanc is an eight-day guided journey with six selected walking stages and planned transport connections. You walk through contrasting sides of the Mont Blanc massif, cross mountain passes and share the experience with your group. This itinerary is not a continuous full circuit on foot: transfers connect parts of the route, allowing the journey to focus on the selected mountain stages described below.
Our all inclusive Life Happens Outdoors Tour du Mont Blanc delivers a world class hut to hut trekking experience across the French, Italian and Swiss Alps. We curate the route to showcase the most stunning sections of the TMB, including Lac Blanc, Val Veny and Champex Lac, giving you the highlights many standard itineraries miss. Your journey combines high mountain huts with charming Alpine villages, offering both authentic adventure and comfortable rest. Included meals add a memorable culinary touch throughout the trek. This is one of our most popular LHO adventures, known for its thoughtful pacing, spectacular viewpoints and community driven atmosphere that sets it apart from typical Tour du Mont Blanc packages. The original overview was reviewed by Lucía Guichot Martín, AMM trekking guide and IFMGA mountain guide, on 23 August 2026. Meet the qualified Tour du Mont Blanc trekking guides who work with LHO.

VIA FERRATA IN THE DOLOMITES
Our six-day Dolomites adventure begins with a group transfer from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Cortina d’Ampezzo. From this mountain base, introductory via ferrata skills lead into guided routes, a night at Rifugio Locatelli and a return to the Venice area before departure.
Via ferrata combines protected climbing, exposure and movement on mountain terrain. Prepared first-timers can join and learn the foundational skills, while the guides select objectives according to conditions and how the group is progressing. Tell us about your hiking background and comfort with heights before booking.

CLIMB MONT BLANC
Six guided mountain days: a dedicated glacier-skills school at a maximum of 1:6, two applied alpine training days at a maximum of 1:3, and a three-day Mont Blanc phase at 1:2. Life Happens Outdoors' eight day Mont Blanc Summit Course is designed for fit, prepared first time alpine climbers who want structured acclimatisation, mountain skills training and a guided attempt via the Goûter route. It is not a beginner fitness programme: you must arrive ready for long mountain days and sustained ascent and descent at altitude.
Reviewed by Pavlos Tsiantos
IFMGA-certified guides lead the mountain days, with a maximum of two clients per guide throughout the three-day Mont Blanc phase. Each departure has a maximum of six participants. The eight-day itinerary is designed with flexibility and safety margins. Progression to the summit phase is conditional on fitness, technical readiness, weather, mountain conditions, access and guide judgement. The guides may change the objective or turn the team around when conditions or readiness do not support a Mont Blanc attempt. A summit is never guaranteed. Meet the IFMGA mountain guides who work with LHO in Chamonix and learn how their qualifications and Alpine experience support the technical leadership on our mountain days. In 2026, we ran 14 Mont Blanc courses with a total of 56 participants. Exceptional heat led us to redirect six of the 14 courses (approximately 43%) in full, with Monte Rosa and Weissmies as alternative destinations.
