Planning your Ama Dablam expedition today
The current LHO expedition lasts 25 days from arrival in Kathmandu to departure. Days 13–20 provide a flexible summit window; conditions and the lead climbing guide’s decisions determine the plan. A summit is not guaranteed.
Acceptance requires a review of recent technical climbing and prior high-altitude expedition experience. Prepare a record of your recent routes, highest sleeping altitude, technical systems and training. Trekking experience or one summit alone does not establish readiness.
