Pioneer Point Partners completed its annual company offsite in Chamonix from 14 to 16 June 2026. Life Happens Outdoors designed and delivered a tailored programme that included the Mer de Glace ice cave, the Grand Balcon Nord and a picnic at Brévent overlooking Mont Blanc.
Pioneer Point Partners LLP, an independent sustainable infrastructure investment firm, completed the three-day experience alongside its existing working agenda. The programme gave the team time together in the French Alps without requiring the organisation to fit its meetings and priorities around a fixed adventure itinerary.
A Chamonix programme shaped around the offsite
The experience was modelled on the Life Happens Outdoors Chamonix Executive Experience, then adapted around Pioneer Point Partners’ intended outcomes and daily schedule.
Life Happens Outdoors planned the outdoor programme and coordinated its delivery so that meetings, team time and mountain activities could sit within a single offsite.
That tailored structure was central to the brief. Each activity had to be meaningful in its own right while fitting the time available to the organisation. The result treated Chamonix as part of the offsite itself, rather than as a separate addition to it.
From the Mer de Glace to Brévent
The programme included a visit to the ice cave at the Mer de Glace and a trek on the Grand Balcon Nord. It also included a picnic at Brévent, with Mont Blanc forming the backdrop across the Chamonix Valley.
These were distinct parts of the same experience, moving from a close view of the valley’s glacial landscape to time on an alpine trail and a quieter shared moment above Chamonix.
The focus was not a summit or technical objective. It was a mountain programme designed to fit the purpose and rhythm of the company offsite.
