Life Happens Outdoors Statement on Flooding in Nepal

Life Happens Outdoors confirms that its Nepal colleagues and their families are safe and outlines its response to the flooding affecting communities across the country.
Life Happens Outdoors is deeply saddened by the devastating flooding affecting communities across Nepal. Our thoughts are with everyone who has lost loved ones, homes or livelihoods, as well as the emergency responders and local organisations supporting affected communities.
LHO is currently between Nepal seasons, so we have no trips operating in the country. We have been in close contact with our local colleagues and are relieved to confirm that they and their families are safe and have not been directly affected.
Nepal is far more than a destination to us. It is home to friends, colleagues and communities who have welcomed LHO community members for many years. We are working with our local teams to understand where help is most needed and how we can responsibly lend our support.
We will share further information if a verified route for support is identified. For now, we encourage anyone wishing to help to rely on official humanitarian organisations and verified local sources.
We stand with Nepal.
