In 2024, Lucía and Nieves Gil climbed Eternal Flame on the Nameless Tower in Pakistan. Their ascent was the first by a Spanish women’s team, and the pair completed the route over seven days on the wall.
Lucía’s wider climbing record includes the North Face of the Eiger, the Walker Spur, the Supercanaleta on Fitz Roy and technical routes in the Mont Blanc massif.
