There are few cultures on the planet that still exist without the glaring taint of globalization and its influences. Bhutan, this uncharted quarter of our blue marble, made impenetrable by it’s natural fortresses of 7000 meter mountains, rushing rivers and deep forests, and once fully isolated from the rest of the world, is today slowly opening its trails to the few who seek true adventure of the body, the mind and most of all, the soul.

This short film explores the connections between the land and its people. It is a new take on story telling that transports us into a world far removed from our own as we explore the people, culture, beliefs and natural environment of ‘The Last Shangri-La’. Life Happens Outdoors is a community of adventure travelers brought together by a shared desire to seek a life of experiences. The community puts together several trips and expeditions per year including adventures in Bhutan.
