LHO Veteran Guides are fully qualified professionals who have worked with the company over a sustained period. They lead programmes primarily in Chamonix and the Mont Blanc massif, with further work across the Vanoise, Écrins, Valais, Bernese Oberland, Aosta Valley, Dolomites and Piemonte.

Babis has led multiple Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa climbs for LHO and has also worked on LHO Matterhorn programmes. His experience covers Alpine mountaineering and ski terrain across Greece, France, Italy and Switzerland.
His work with LHO combines technical leadership with the calm communication and adaptable decision making required when routes, weather or the needs of the team change.
