Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AND THE LAC BLANC TREK OR VILLAGE TOUR

The adventure begins with your arrival in the Chamonix Valley. If you’re flying into Geneva, your Life Happens Outdoors Team Leader will be on hand to coordinate transfers, ensuring a seamless start to your journey. Our trusted transfer partners will greet you at the airport and take you straight to your hotel in Chamonix, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the French Alps.

Weather permitting, we will start strong with a hike to Lac Blanc, one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the Mont Blanc range. After a short cable car ride to Flégère, the trail winds through alpine meadows and rocky paths, revealing ever-expanding views of glaciers and jagged peaks. At the lake, we will pause to take in the mirror-like reflection of Mont Blanc on its turquoise surface, a truly unforgettable start to the weekend.

Alternatively, if weather conditions do not allow for the hike, your Team Leader will guide you on a tour of Chamonix’s charming village. You will have the chance to explore its bustling market streets, visit local shops, and enjoy the warm alpine atmosphere that makes this mountain town so unique.

In the evening, the group will come together for a team dinner and trip briefing led by your Life Happens Outdoors Team Leader and mountain guide. It is the perfect time to connect, review the plan ahead, and ease into the alpine rhythm of the days to come.

DAY 2: GLACIER PANORAMA, ICE WALK & TORINO HUT LUNCH

After breakfast, we will head to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, one of the highest in the world, and ascend to nearly 3,800 meters. At the top, we will be greeted by breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif with France on one side and Italy on the other. From here, we will ride the Panoramic Mont Blanc cable car across the Vallée Blanche Glacier, gliding over vast fields of ice and towering seracs before arriving at Helbronner on the Italian side of the Alps.

Once on the glacier, our IFMGA certified guide will lead us on a thrilling glacier walk, introducing the techniques of mountaineering and the unique sensation of walking on ancient ice. We will then enjoy a hearty alpine lunch at the Torino Hut, perched high above the clouds with panoramic views of the peaks all around.

Your Life Happens Outdoors Team Leader will be on hand throughout the day to assist the team and capture the experience through photography, ensuring you return home with lasting memories of this extraordinary alpine adventure. In the afternoon, we will return to Chamonix with time to relax or explore the village before gathering again for a warm and well earned group dinner.

DAY 3: FREE TIME OR LAC BLANC TREK & FINAL FAREWELLS

Our final morning offers flexibility depending on conditions and energy levels. If the weather did not allow for the Lac Blanc trek earlier in the trip, we will use this day to complete it and take in its incredible views of Mont Blanc. Otherwise, enjoy free time in Chamonix, stroll through the cafés and shops, visit the Alpine Museum, or simply soak in the mountain views one last time.

This morning can also be dedicated to a team reflection session, which we can organize at our hotel conference center or at an alternative alpine location. It’s a meaningful opportunity to pause, realign goals, and turn shared experiences into actionable inspiration.

By early afternoon, we will return to the hotel to refresh and pack. Transfers will be arranged according to each participant’s departure time. As we say our farewells, you will leave with strengthened team bonds, a renewed sense of purpose, and the energy to take on new challenges together.
