Upgrade your stay to a private single room for the Kathmandu hotel nights included in your Island Peak itinerary. The number of hotel nights can vary according to the itinerary and travel arrangements. This upgrade does not cover tea-house or tent accommodation and is subject to availability.

The optional Island Peak high-altitude helicopter return costs £1,700 per helicopter, including all taxes, for up to two passengers. Pickup is planned from Chukung or Dingboche depending on the confirmed descent plan, weather, visibility, landing conditions, aircraft availability and safety decisions. It is separate from the included Kathmandu–Lukla aviation sector. The maximum baggage allowance is a 12 kg duffel plus a daypack under 4 kg per passenger; excess baggage requires advance arrangement. The shortened itinerary is planned to remove about three to four days, but the end date is not guaranteed. The add-on is refunded in full only if no helicopter return operates at any altitude. A lower pickup, including Namche, counts as operated and no refund is due. Aircraft type is not guaranteed, and a seasonal aircraft change may be required in Pheriche. The offer applies to all currently published public Island Peak departures and private Island Peak departures while this policy remains published. A replacement policy from Commercial or the supplier requires reapproval.
