Itinerary

DAY 1: WELCOME TO CHAMONIX

Our adventure begins with your arrival in Chamonix, the world capital of freeride skiing. Whether you’re arriving by train, car, or airport transfer, your LHO Team Leader will be ready to welcome you at our carefully selected 3-star hotel. Check-in begins at 3 PM, but if you arrive early, you’ll have the chance to explore the charming alpine town, grab a coffee in a local café, or simply take in the incredible views of Mont Blanc.

In the evening, we’ll gather for a team dinner and trip briefing hosted by your LHO Team Leader and one of our IFMGA-certified guides. This will be our chance to meet the team, discuss the itinerary, and ensure everyone is ready for the days ahead. You’ll also receive an overview of the safety procedures, the gear requirements for freeriding, and essential meeting points for our days on the mountain.

DAY 2: AIGUILLE DU MIDI – THE VALLÉE BLANCHE EXPERIENCE

After an early breakfast, we’ll meet our IFMGA guide and take the iconic Aiguille du Midi cable car up to 3,842 meters. Today is all about exploring the legendary freeride terrain of the Vallée Blanche, with its stunning glacier routes and varied descents.
It’s important to note that the daily breakdown serves as a general guide, but our specific routes and objectives will be chosen each morning based on snow conditions, weather, and the group’s ability. Our priority is to ensure we’re skiing the best snow available and maximizing our time on the mountain.
Depending on the conditions and group pace, we’ll aim for multiple runs, each offering a unique experience—from wide-open powder fields to narrow, technical sections winding through dramatic ice formations. Along the way, our guide will provide expert navigation, safety oversight, and insights into this iconic alpine landscape.
Lunch will be a relaxed stop on the glacier or at one of the mid-mountain huts, depending on our route. In the evening, we’ll return to Chamonix for dinner and a recap of the day’s highlights, ready to plan our next adventure.

DAY 3: SKYWAY MONTE BIANCO – ENDLESS POWDER LINES

Today, we cross into Italy via the Mont Blanc Tunnel to explore the freeride terrain on the Skyway Monte Bianco. This state-of-the-art rotating cable car takes us up to Punta Helbronner (3,466m), where a world of freeride possibilities awaits.
Our guide will lead us through multiple descents, carefully selecting routes based on snow conditions and the group’s skill level. From long powder fields to steep, technical couloirs, the Skyway side delivers some of the most thrilling freeride runs in the Alps.
We’ll pause for lunch either mid-mountain or back in the village of Courmayeur before returning to Chamonix in the late afternoon. Dinner awaits us at a local restaurant, with stories of Italian powder sure to dominate the conversation.

DAY 4: VAL VENY – THE HIDDEN PLAYGROUND

After breakfast, we’ll head back through the Mont Blanc Tunnel to access the lesser-known Val Veny freeride routes from Courmayeur. With its quieter slopes and stunning scenery, Val Veny offers a more remote feel and incredible opportunities for deep powder skiing and snowboarding.
Today is about finding untracked lines, exploring open bowls, and navigating natural features with the guidance of our IFMGA guide. Whether it’s tree runs, wide-open faces, or playful gullies, the terrain here offers something for every freerider.
Lunch will be enjoyed either in a mountainside hut or back in the village. In the evening, we’ll return to Chamonix for dinner and a relaxed team briefing on our final ski day.

DAY 5: AIGUILLES ROUGES – THE PERFECT FINALE

For our final day of freeriding, we’ll explore the Aiguilles Rouges massif, just across the valley from Mont Blanc. Known for its spectacular views and diverse off-piste terrain, this area offers everything from mellow powder slopes to steep and technical descents.
The day will be tailored to the group’s energy levels and preferences, with our guide selecting the best routes based on conditions. This could include classic descents like the Crochues-Berard Traverse or exploring the hidden gems tucked away in the massif.
After a full day of freeriding, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner back in Chamonix to celebrate our week on the mountain. It’s the perfect chance to look back on the highlights, share laughs, and toast to an incredible adventure.

DAY 6: FAREWELL TO CHAMONIX

Our final morning begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. Whether you’re heading back home or continuing your journey elsewhere, our LHO Team Leader will be on hand to assist with any final logistics or recommendations.
For those returning via Geneva Airport, we’ll ensure your transfer details are all in order.
As we say our goodbyes, we leave with the satisfaction of having explored some of the most iconic freeride terrain in the world, guided by experts, and surrounded by a team of like-minded adventurers. Safe travels, and until next time!
