Statement of Risk: Outdoor and adventure experiences often involve learning new skills in unfamiliar environments. They can also involve travel to destinations that may offer difficult or challenging environments. As such these holidays have an element of risk, which includes a danger of personal injury or death. Participants and/or their parents/guardians undertaking these experiences should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions. Life Happens Outdoors reserves the right to cancel or modify any experience if it believes there to be unacceptable risk attached in offering such an activity to the public. The Life Happens Outdoors decision is at its sole discretion.

Statement of Physical Ability: You should ensure that you have an adequate level of fitness and a certain level of confidence, in order to take part in the activity that you wish to book. Life Happens Outdoors reserves the right to cancel or modify your tour or booking if your physical ability puts you, other customers, the general public or Life Happens Outdoors staff at adverse risk. Photography Release: Life Happens Outdoors takes photos and videos of participants for publicity, including use on our own website, YouTube channel, Facebook/Instagram page and Life Happens Outdoors publications. If you do not wish to be photographed or have content that includes your identity used on the aforementioned mediums, please inform your team leader.

Disclaimer: I/We the Customer/s understand that we are taking part in this tour at our own risk, and I accept that Life Happens Outdoors will not accept any liability for any damage to or loss of property belonging to customers, members or their guests to a Life Happens Outdoors trip or activity except in the case of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Life Happens Outdoors or officers, staff, volunteers or servants of Life Happens Outdoors. Cancellation by Life Happens Outdoors: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any activity on this trip for the following reasons: Adverse environmental impacts, equipment breakages, team leader sickness, insufficient uptake, security at the destination or extra ordinary circumstances out of our control. Cash refunds will not be available; however, the customer will be issued with a gift voucher. The gift voucher can be used to re-book onto any future adventure of choice. Gift vouchers will have maximum expiration date of 365 days from the date of issue.

An adventure holiday for anyone with a pulse. No fitness requirements or prerequisites. Come as you are. Great for those who already train 1-2 times per week or would like to use this upcoming adventure as an opportunity to kickstart a fitness journey. Joiners should be comfortable with their physical fitness and regularly train at least 2-3 times a week in the lead up to this adventure. Need we explain further? No prior experience is required. Basic skills may be taught during this adventure. The skills necessary to safely complete this adventure will be taught as a part of this experience. This adventure requires prior experience, pre-requisite skills or certifications. See below for details. We aim to strike a balance between unique local experiences and international standards of comfort and hygiene. Hostels are dorm-style accommodation used during certain legs of our trips and expeditions. They can be quite trendy with common areas, restaurants and cafes. Expect rooms to include a bed and a mattress as well as a common dining area with chairs and tables. You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag and an optional pillow. When the experience includes camping we provide the tents, sleeping mats, common dining tents, camping chairs and camping tables. The only thing you’ll need to get is a sleeping bag and an optional camping pillow. Please refer to the LHO gear list for more information specific to the trip you’re on. Mountain Lodges are usually well equipped, providing beds with duvets and pillows. They also include a common restaurant area. Some lodges require a sleeping liner.
