Itinerary

Whether it’s taking off by paraglide, taking off into a yoga pose, or taking off your clothes and jumping in the river, this is an experience of pure magic for anyone of any background who is seeking to get away from the routine of city life and live an adventure of a life time.

DAY 1: ARRIVING TO KATHMANDU

Day 1 is arrival day. We’ll be picking you up from the airport and checking you into Kathmandu Guest House. Kathmandu airport can be a bit of an experience unto itself. Once you’ve navigated your way out, you’ll be met by your LHO team leader. Depending on what time you arrive you’ll benefit from a tour of Kathmandu which includes Durbar Square, Boudanath Stupa and Thamel. At 8:00 PM we’ll have a team dinner and briefing before heading back to the hotel for gear checks and last-minute preparations.

DAY 2: WHITE WATER RAFTING & BANDIPUR

We’ll start our day super early with an early yoga session before catching our bus ride to the Trishuli river for some white water rafting. Upon arrival, we’ll receive a full briefing followed by a two-hour session up the river in the direction of Bandipur. After our session, we’ll grab some lunch before continuing our road trip to Bandipur. We expect to arrive in the late afternoon to our hotel.

DAY 3: TREKKING FROM POKHARA TO GHANDRUK

We’ll start our day with an early yoga session before catching our bus ride in the direction of Pokhara. Upon arrival to Pokhara, we’ll be met by our porter team who will escort us to the Pokhara Batika Hotel for last minute checks and to drop off anything not needed for the trekking portion of our time together. From there, it’s a three-hour drive to Kimchi, where we’ll have lunch before starting our trekking experience. A few minutes into the trail, we’ll veer off the main path and start up the steeper trail to Ghandruk. We typically arrive at sundown which means we may walk for about an hour in darkness so do have your headlamps handy. Dinner will be at the tea house accommodation on arrival.

DAY 4: GHANDRUK TO JINHU HOT SPRINGS

Our day will start with a yoga and meditation session against the backdrop of one of the most spectacular views in the Himalayas. After the session, we’ll have breakfast and head out for our second day on the trail that’ll take us to Jinhu. The trail goes down through the old town of Ghandruk then the valley to reach the New Bridge, the second longest suspension bridge in Nepal. Depending on the time, we’ll be having lunch on the way or upon arrival. We’ll then take a hike down to Jinhu Hot springs to enjoy a relaxing dip in the natural hot water pools. Dinner and evening meditation will be at the hotel rooftop.

DAY 5: JINHU BACK TO RELAXING POKHARA

Our last mini trekking day will take us back across New Bridge followed by jumping into our jeeps to take us back to beautiful Pokhara. We’ll be having lunch at a local restaurant in Pokhara with our trekking team before we part ways with them. where After lunch, we’ll have a well-deserved massage before enjoying a sunset boat ride on Lake Phewa to the foot of the World Peace Pagoda. For those of us feeling motivated, there’s an option to walk up to the Pagoda. The evening will be free for us to explore the town and recover from the trek. Dinner will be in one of the vibrant local restaurants in Pokhara.

DAY 6: ADRENALINE-FILLED POKHARA

The day will start with an optional yoga session followed by breakfast. We intend to depart the hotel at 10:00 AM in the direction of Sarangkot, the take off zone for our paragliding session. After a briefing by our flight instructors, we’ll start up and take off over the Annapurna range. Flight times vary depending on conditions. We’ll land near the town of Pokhara where we’ll be met by our transport and shuttled to the exit point of the zipline! Dinner will be at a Pokhara restaurant.

DAY 7: BACK TO KATHMANDU

After having our breakfast at the hotel we’ll be catching our morning flight back to Kathmandu. You’ll have time for some shopping in Kathmandu and we’ll be hosting a farewell dinner in town later in the evening.

DAY 8: NAMASTE

The last day is dedicated to airport shuttles. Breakfast at the hotel is included. For those of us who missed out on the city tour on arrival day an alternative tour can be arranged. Please make sure to provide us with your arrival and departure details before the first day of the trip.
